Mathias Mwita
Local Coordinator | Kuria, Kenya | Since 2005
Mathias is our local coordinator, who oversees the charity in Kenya. Mathias helps find potential applicants for review and works closely with the UK Chairperson and Trustees to select students each year and to ensure the best for the students who are lucky enough to receive funding for their education in Kuria.

Once students are selected each year, Mathias continues to check in with the students throughout their education, providing vital support and encouragement and liaising with the UK team to make sure students have what they need to thrive as well as passing on news and updates, keeping both sides well informed, enabling the charity to run smoothly.

The charity couldn't operate without the hard work and dedication Mathias offers.
Pippa Price
Chair of trustees | Sussex, UK | Since 2023
Pippa is our Chair of trustees appointed in 2023, before which she had been a trustee since 2011.
​
Pippa is the youngest of Malcolm's daughters, continuing his hard work and dedication to the charity in his memory.
Pippa communicates with the Kenyan Coordinator on a regular basis keeping up to date with all students progress, as well as current affairs in Kenya that may impact the students studies.
Pippa also coordinates with the other trustees, organising financials and overseeing fundraising and sponsorships, enabling the charity to continue its important work.
